Mr. Schwartz has nearly 8 years of corporate finance advisory experience with a primary focus on providing growth capital to small-cap and middle market companies through private placements and PIPE financings. As co-head of private placements at The Shemano Group, Inc. he was personally responsible for the origination, execution and funding of transactions totaling $350 million in consideration. There he developed core expertise in convertible issuances, common stock and warrant PIPE's, distressed/asset based lending, and registered direct offerings across all sectors. Mr. Schwartz has built extensive relationships within the private equity, venture capital, mutual fund, and hedge fund communities. Mr. Schwartz earned a BA in Economics with an emphasis in Global and International Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has been a guest lecturer at the University of San Francisco School of Law.
